What are the limitations of bending?

The limitations of sheet metal bending can be that

• the material is too brittle and cracks
• the material is too hard and cannot be folded
• tooling investment is needed but is cheaper than for eccentric pressing, for example
• it is too difficult with certain radii and shapes
