What are the advantages of edge pressing compared to other methods of bending sheet metal?

Edge pressing is the method most commonly used for short and medium runs. The reason is that you can change the dimensions very easily by adjusting the machine or tool in the middle of the process. Compared to eccentric pressing, for example, where the tool is fixed, edge pressing is a flexible method.

Edge bending is also a cheap method as eccentric pressing requires expensive tooling investments. This method is suitable for small and medium-sized series. With loading robots, the process is also very cost-effective.
