FAQ
How do you rivet sheet metal?
Riveting different pieces of sheet metal together is common. The most common and easiest is pop riveting. It's not waterproof, but you get a strong joint.
With a hand tool, a rivet is pushed through pre-punched holes and deformed on the reverse side. The head of the rivet can be recessed or hollow. If you need flat surfaces on both sides, other riveting methods are available.
